Irrigation Management

Our farms utilize a comprehensive irrigation network consisting of over 467,000 meters of canals and 372,571 meters of drainage infrastructure. We employ gravity irrigation systems that deliver water from the Awash River through precisely designed primary canals with strategic offtakes to field canals and furrows. We’re implementing center pivot irrigation technology to enhance water effiency and ensure consistent soil moisture levels, preventing under or over-watering that could lead to plant stress and reduced productivity.
